PetSmart, a top pet supply store in the United States, has compiled a list of the most useful pet care products with the help of store employees and the many pet owners who shop at the popular pet supply store.
"These are a few of pets' favorite things," according to PetSmart. The list of the most ideal pet products was released on September 17, 2008.
A Look at the Best Pet Care Product: The FURminator
The list of PetSmart's ideal pet products - the "Favorite Things" list - is topped by the FURminator. The FURminator is a "de-shedding" pet brush that's designed to gently remove the fine fur that comprises a dog or cat's undercoat. It's a cat or dog's undercoat that's greatly responsible for shedding, and most pet brushes do not effectively remove the loose fur of the dog's undercoat. The FURminator can be used to brush long-haired dogs and cats, along with short-haired animals.
Named an ideal pet product for its ability to effectively groom the undercoat of a dog or cat, the FURminator pet brush is said to reduce dander and hair in the home by 90 percent, which results in less irritation for individuals who are sensitive or allergic to pet hair and dander.
